PASE Mainstreaming seminar - Hannover 21st September 2011

PASE Mainstreaming seminar

Hannover 21st September 2011

Ada-und-Theodor-Lessing Volkshochschule Hannover

Theodor-Lessing-Platz 1

30159 Hannover

Introduction and objective of the seminar

The seminar is part of the PASE Project, (www.pase-project.eu) a European interregional cooperation project part-financed by the INTERREG IV C and the European Regional Development Fund and promoted by Marche Region, in partnership with local authorities of the following countries: Hanover (Germany), Krakow (Poland), Paca Region (France), Andalucía and Madrid South (Spain), Arge County (Romania) and Municipality of Forest (Belgium).

The seminar aims to share the main results achieved so far with the local community, especially policy makers and stakeholders.

Since in some of the PASE countries social economy and social enterprises are well developed and play an important role in delivering public policies objectives, the local mainstreaming meeting aims at fostering a better knowledge of practices and tools used in Italy and Spain, having the potential to be transferred to Germany. The seminar focuses on innovative methodologies and tools, examined in the PASE project and considered particularly successful in allowing the collaboration between public authority and social enterprises.

The seminar lasts one day and is divided in three sessions.

The first session is devoted to the presentation of the context (legal, political, social, etc.) of Italy and Spain. The second session is devoted to the analysis of the policy tools by the experts. The participants then have the opportunity to ask questions and clarifications.

The third session is devoted to the discussion on the transferability of the tools (need to adaptation, usefulness in a different context, etc.) and a review of the measures including the views of local stakeholders on the key elements of the policy/measure from their perspective.

Interpretation in German is provided.
